Currently, the fabric that is made with the “English twist” method is defined as anti-hail mesh, from the use of high density polyethylene (which is the raw material), the density that will be given to the weft of the fabric is chosen tissue, achieving a stiffer weft, which is what allows when the hail falls, it hits the mesh and bounces. Anti-Hail Mesh offers protection against soft and heavy hail storms in order to preserve crops.

The “Marca León” ® Anti-Hail Mesh is manufactured in three presentations: Reinforced (R), Double reinforced (RR) and Raschel (ultra reinforced).
